Laura La Roche is the founder of Explaura Travel, bringing over a decade of hands-on experience in luxury and adventure travel. She began her career spending four years working onboard sailing yachts across the Mediterranean and Caribbean, exploring the world by sea. One of her most unforgettable experiences was transiting through the Panama Canal into the Pacific Ocean and sailing onward to Costa Rica.

Laura has lived in some of the world’s most iconic yachting destinations, including Antibes, Palma de Mallorca, and the British Virgin Islands, giving her a deep, insider understanding of these regions. She then spent seven years as a Yacht Charter Broker, further refining her expertise in crafting bespoke sailing experiences, while continuing to enjoy annual sailing holidays herself.

With extensive personal travel to destinations such as Bali, Malta, Barbados, and Mauritius, Laura combines real-world knowledge with a passion for creating unforgettable journeys. Through Explaura Travel, she is dedicated to designing tailor-made experiences (both ABTA and ATOL protected) with a personal touch, ensuring every trip is as unique as the client.
